PATH Living Labs

PATH Living Labs is an innovation platform within PATH that accelerates the development and adoption of health solutions through a human-centered design (HCD) approach. It works by partnering closely with end users to co-create solutions that address real-world health challenges in low- and middle-income settings. By engaging users throughout the design process, it surfaces critical insights early, reduces implementation risks, and improves the likelihood of successful adoption at scale.

The initiative applies a structured, iterative “4D” methodology—Discover, Define, Dream, and Design—to rapidly generate ideas, prototype solutions, and test them in real-world environments.
