ICT Usage Lab promotes multidisciplinary studies on usage-based innovation and coordinates researchers from different fields: artificial intelligence, computer science, data science, educational science, cognitive psychology and ergonomics, sociology, economics, etc. ICT Usage Lab aims at sharing its infrastructure (hardware, software, tools, etc.), as well as experiences and know-how. ICT Usage Lab is tackling challenges mainly in the field of digital science education: it aims at co-creating new educational materials in digital science with many involved actors (e.g. teachers, researchers, associations, entrepreneurs) to make people (children, pupils, students, citizens) understand the basics of computer science and to facilitate the dissemination of the digital science culture. The approach remains multidisciplinary and considers the latest research in innovative training, pedagogy and education. In parallel, the ICT Usage Lab also trains teachers in these new innovative teaching methods.
