EDUTECH STEAM Lab

EDUTECH STEAM Laboratory fosters an open, user-centered innovation ecosystem based on co-creation. It brings together teachers, students, researchers, and EdTech developers to test and enhance educational tools in real-life learning environments. The laboratory focuses on project-based STEAM education, digital learning solutions, and the integration of artificial intelligence in educational technologies. Its Living Lab approach enables the development of authentic, interdisciplinary tasks that are vital in teacher education. This model supports future educators in acquiring not only digital and professional teaching competencies but also practical experience in innovation leadership. Through collaborative engagement—from the idea generation to implementation—with academic researchers, school communities, and social partners, prospective teachers actively contribute to the design and adoption of transformative educational practices. Embedded within Klaipeda University, a multidisciplinary institution and a member of the EU-CONEXUS European University Alliance, the EDUTECH STEAM Laboratory complements the university’s strong legacy in teacher education, which includes bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs in Educational Sciences and sustained regional partnerships.
