As a leading academic institution in the field of engineering, technology and innovation in the Netherlands, Delft University of Technology and its faculty members are engaged in cutting- edge research in innovation studies, sustainable development, governance, and decision-making, with a strong focus on user- centric and interdisciplinary collaborations. We house various labs and a number of research groups focused on fostering innovation. These include: the Design for Values Institute, which explores how technology can be designed and governed to align with human values; the Samelab, which develops serious games; and the Transdisciplinary Lab for Learning and Research, which tests, explores and reflects upon innovative co-creative processes to address scientific and societal challenges in research and education. These labs provide platforms for collaborative research, experimentation, and knowledge exchange, forming a research ecosystem oriented to technological innovation and learning.
