Cityzone

CityZone is a smart city innovation hub and urban living lab, established by the Municipality of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Tel Aviv University, and Atidim Park Tel Aviv.

Since 2019, CityZone has been addressing urban challenges through open innovation, providing startups with the opportunity to design, develop, and test their solutions in real-world conditions – in close collaboration with the municipality as a design partner.

Based in Atidim Park, CityZone operates within a unique urban sandbox equipped with city-like infrastructure, catering to a wide range of urban use cases and enabling real-world experimentation and validation.

Through direct access to municipal systems, academic expertise, international partnerships, and a dynamic startup ecosystem, CityZone empowers impactful, scalable urban solutions.

In addition to hands-on testing, the hub supports early-stage and growth-stage startups with mentorship, strategic guidance, and exposure to global smart city networks.

By bridging the gap between innovation and implementation, CityZone fosters real change in urban environments, enabling smarter, more sustainable, and citizen-centered cities of tomorrow.
