Bahçeşehir Orthodontics Living Lab (BOLL) is a patient centered, multi stakeholder healthcare Living Lab that integrates digital orthodontics, participatory design, and real life experimentation to co create innovative, inclusive, and sustainable health solutions. Operating within an active clinical setting, BOLL applies the Living Lab innovation cycle of co design, prototyping, testing, evaluation, and scale up by directly involving patients, families, clinicians, academic partners, technology providers, NGOs, and municipalities. The Living Lab combines digital treatment planning, AI assisted monitoring, AR based thematic clinical environments, and home and school based interventions to improve clinical outcomes, reduce dental anxiety, and enhance user engagement, with impacts validated through scientific research and real world data. Rooted in openness, ethical governance, and social responsibility, BOLL addresses well being and health, education, sustainability, and social inclusion through initiatives such as orthodontic care for vulnerable children at no cost, digital dental design training for individuals with disabilities, and aligner recycling programs. Through structured governance, transparent IP and data management, and continuous internal and external communication, BOLL positions itself as a scalable and replicable European hub for patient centered digital healthcare innovation aligned with the values and mission of the ENoLL community.
