DHITECH is the host organisation of KLIO Lab (Knowledge-based Lifecycle InnOvation Laboratory), an active member of the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL). Its mission is to drive innovation and technological development by connecting universities, research centres, companies, and public institutions. Using the Living Lab methodology, it actively involves end‑users and stakeholders in co‑creating, testing, and validating solutions in real‑life environments. With strong expertise in managing multi‑stakeholder projects at regional, national, and EU levels, DHITECH plays a central role in supporting entrepreneurship and technology transfer. Its Living Lab approach ensures innovations are relevant, usable, and impactful, addressing real‑world needs and social contexts. Based in Lecce, DHITECH’s innovation ecosystem focuses on advanced materials, micro‑bio‑nano technologies, and ICT, being closely aligned with the theme of exponential technologies and tech‑driven entrepreneurship. The foundation nurtures high‑tech startups and scalable solutions that tackle pressing societal challenges. Its recent ISO 56001:2024 certification in Innovation Management highlights its leadership in shaping inclusive, sustainable, and future‑oriented innovation processes.
