Green Point Farm to Fork (F2F) Living Lab is a place-based innovation ecosystem based on a Multi-Actor Approach. It involves farmers, food producers, businesses, technology providers, consumers, and local authorities. It brings together diverse actors to co-create and test systemic solutions for sustainable food systems tailored to the specific needs of the Pomurje region.
Its vision is a resilient, sustainable, and locally governed food system in which producers thrive, communities access healthy local food, and sustainability is embedded throughout production, distribution, and consumption.
It focuses on technological (e.g. blockchain, big data, data sharing), economic (circular economy, food loss and waste reduction), and social (consumer participation, local food networks) innovations, implemented and validated in real-life rural settings.
Activities include co-creation workshops, digital tools for stakeholder engagement, demonstration farms applying sustainable agricultural practices and solutions, and community campaigns promoting responsible food choices. The Lab also supports research, knowledge sharing, policy feedback, and advances in digitalisation in the agri-food sector. Trust-based collaboration strengthens regional food security and supports the transition toward a circular, inclusive, and data-informed agri-food system.
