SOM Health Lab

SOM Health Lab is a people-centred Living Lab promoted by Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu. It is an open and collaborative innovation platform focused on mental health and emotional well-being, intermediate care, healthy ageing, and community health. Based at the RISE Center, the Lab provides a unique environment for co-creation, testing, and validation in real-life settings. The Lab brings together patients, users, professionals, researchers, public institutions, and community stakeholders to co-create innovative solutions that respond to real needs and generate meaningful social impact. Its approach is grounded in active user participation, scientific rigour, and ethical commitment. Supported by a multidisciplinary team and a strong collaborative ecosystem, Som Health Lab also contributes to strategic initiatives such as the TECSAM Network, strengthening innovation in mental health and accelerating the development of sustainable, scalable, and transferable solutions for health system transformation.
