SMART Living Lab target is to create a “user-friendly” environment for testing industry products and research purposes. SMART Living Lab includes, among others, an expansive installation with a total structured area of 4212 m², and a ceiling/floor surface area of 2430 m², including a specialized control room tailored for the Living Lab’s unique purposes. Additionally it provides a plethora of equipment such as a cutting-edge rooftop PV system and an EV charging station offering a dynamic platform for research across multiple domains. From exploring renewable energy sources, PV technologies, and storage systems to delving into demand-side management techniques, smart metering infrastructure, forecasting tools, and inverter control, this multi-purpose ecosystem empowers research in various cutting-edge fields.
