INTERNATIONAL PROJECT MANAGER

WHO WE ARE

The European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) is the international, non-profit, independent association of Living Labs. 

ENoLL facilitates knowledge exchange, joint actions and project partnerships between its historically labelled +480 members in Europe and worldwide. Its aim is to promote the Living Labs concept in order to influence EU policies, enhance Living Labs and enable their implementation at a global level.

The role of ENoLL Office is to implement decisions passed by the General Assembly and run day-to-day operations of the network.

YOUR TEAM

You’d be working in a dynamic international team, where colleagues with different backgrounds and a common passion for Living Labs, each with their own expertise.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Project Manager you will be in charge of ENoLL activities under EU-funded projects with a specific focus on capacity building, knowledge sharing, stakeholders’ engagement, management, and dissemination. 

You will be responsible for schedules, budgets, resources, and project deliverables to ensure the project goals and objectives are achieved.

In this role you will:

  • Plan, implement and manage ENoLL activities and responsibilities in the framework of EU-funded projects (Horizon Europe)
  • Help define project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Prepare deliverables and coordinate the drafting of technical reports and cost statements
  • Coordinate internal and external personnel for the execution of projects
  • Liaise with lead partner/other member of the consortium
  • Constantly monitor the progress of the work to ensure that the plan is adhered to
  • Organize meetings, conferences, and workshops, write agenda and reports
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, indicators, tools, and techniques
  • Implement and manage the changes necessary to achieve project results
  • Achieve goals and deliver deliverables on time and within budget limits
  • Analyze the risks of the project and propose solutions for the problems encountered
  • Manage communication and dissemination actions both internally and externally
  • Create and archive complete project documentation

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • At least 3-year experience as project manager, with theoretical and practical project management knowledge
  • Experience in EU-funded (Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe) project management and reporting
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and/or change management
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills with the ability to coordinate information and processes involving multiple people/teams and different parallel workflows
  • Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills 
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written in formal and informal situations)
  • Proficiency in English both in oral and written form

HIGHLY DESIRABLE ASSETS 

  • Previous experience in coordinating EU-funded projects and managing consortium partners
  • Experience in knowledge transfer, capacity building, and event organisation
  • Knowledge of one or more of the policy areas covered by Horizon Europe
  • Experience in policy work
  • Strong problem solving attitude
  • Spirit of innovation and creativity
  • Experience in project administrative and financial management

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

  • A full-time contract as a freelancer based in any EU country and able to prove freelancer status as a natural person
  • Remuneration depending on qualifications and experiences
