Scientific publication ranks Principal Lecturer Seppo Leminen as the most cited author
Laurea Principal Lecturer, Doctor of Science in Economics, D.Sc. (Econ.) and Doctor of Science in Technology, D.Sc. (Tech.) Seppo Leminen rose to the top of the list, when international scientific publication Technology Innovation Management Review (TIM Review)recently ranked the most-cited articles and authors in its ten-year history.
With his 11 articles, Leminen is the most-cited author of the TIM Review during its ten-year history. In addition to this, an article written by Leminen and his research partners, Living Labs as Open-Innovation Networks (2012) was ranked second among the most-cited individual articles. Leminen and his research partners have two other articles on the top-ten list of most-cited articles: Managing the Challenges of Becoming an Open Innovation Company: Experiences from Living Labs (2011) and Designing Business Models for the Internet of Things (2014).
Also making the top-ten list of articles is one authored by Laurea Principal Lecturers Soile Juujärvi and Kaija Pesso titled: Actor Roles in Urban Living LaB: What Can We Learn from Suurpelto, Finland? (2013).
– This high ranking of the most-cited authors and articles shows that the international scientific community makes use of our articles to support their own research, explains Leminen, whose research is specifically focused on living labs and ecosystemic business models.
In June, Leminen and his research partners were awarded The Technological Implications Award at a conference for the International Society for Professional Innovation Management (ISPIM). The award-winning article, Innovating with service robots in living labs, discusses innovating with service robots in living labs based on the open innovation model.
The TIM Review is a rising, peer-reviewed and internationally-ranked scientific publication with a monthly readership of approximately 30,000 readers all over the world. Operating in accordance with the principles of open access, the TIM Review is published by Carleton University in Canada.
