Forum Virium Helsinki, the city of Helsinki innovation company, co-creates urban futures with companies, universities, public sector, and residents. Its Living Labs include the Smart Kalasatama, Jätkäsaari Mobility Lab, and the Helsinki Innovation Districts. The Helsinki Innovation Districts take the learnings from the Helsinki’s Smart City District Kalasatama to the districts under regeneration. The work is based on experimentation with agile piloting programmes, co-creation of smart & green solutions and active resident engagement in the suburban districts.
