ENoLL, together with the FI-PPP community and the eHealth and ALL community, organised a FIA session called “when infrastructure meets the user” in Poznan, Poland last October 26th.

The session, that addressed the need for broad based participation into the requirement specification and co-creation of the technology platforms while advancing the implementation of the Digital Agenda in Europe, brought together in a dynamic panel important names from the Living Lab community, the FI-PPP community (Fi-WARE, INFINITY, ENVIROFI), the FI Roadmap WG and the eHealth/AAL Community to jointly discuss important subjects such as the identification of alternative avenues for FI PPP, Living Labs, e-health community and other FI WG and communities to work together for maximal societal and economic impact, the identification of common assets and priorities of the different communities, the identification of best practices on how to support the research and development projects to grow into sustainable business integrating the demand side (user and citizen centric approach) in the whole innovation process, and, the identification of the technological and non-technological challenges to face in the preparation and implementation of the Future Internet PPP large scale trials (phase 2).

The session was introduced and brilliantly moderated by two of our ENoLL Council members: Dr. Petra Turkama (AALTO University and CONCORD project coordinator) and Mr Jarmo Eskelinen (Forum Virium Helsinki CEO and ENoLL Vice-President).
