Torino City Lab (Italy) – Upcoming event: 5G towards 6G for Citiverse – How AI, IoT, Blockchain, and XR are driving urban innovation in future Cities & Communities

The international event will take place in Torino on June 18th, 2024 and will be focused on showcasing and promoting the debate among Public Authorities, Research and Industry on concrete advancements in the application of 5 to 6G emerging technologies solutions for urban innovation towards the upcoming European paradigm of “CitiVerse”. Among the key topics addressed there will be:

• Smart and sustainable mobility
• Safety and security
• Entertainment, Culture, and Tourism
• City Planning towards Climate Neutral Cities
• Smart City initiatives

The event will include:

Conference (on-site)

The conference is organized into four sessions of keynote speeches and round tables. Dividing the sessions, there will be a lunch break and 3 rounds of B2B meetings and showcases.

Physical B2B

A dedicated area will be equipped with 20 B2B stations, with electrical connections. An online platform will be made available to plan beforehand 30 minutes length B2B meetings, which will be organized according to the programme, in about 3 sessions. More info and instructions will be provided.

Demo Area

The demo area will host small scale demo showcases including prototypes/video/equipment regarding innovative emerging tech solutions deployed in European/Italian Cities.

Supporting European Networks will also have their own stand to be used to give information about activities/services/upcoming events.

During the B2B activities, the demo area will be open for participants not engaged in the meetings.

ENoLL will be there for the final session “Living Labs: Pioneering 5G and 6G Innovations in real urban settings“. During this roundtable discussion, we will explore the transformative potential of Living Labs for testing and experimenting with innovative technologies in real urban settings. ENoLL Living Labs will be shedding light on their invaluable experiences, showcasing how these hubs can amplify the advantages of digital solutions with a city-driven and citizen-centric approach. Furthermore, we will embark on an exploration of the pivotal role played by the Living-in.EU movement in boosting the digital transformation of European cities and communities.
