ENoLL President, Tuija Hirviskoski spoke at the Small Advanced Economies Initiative Innovation day as a representative of Laurea University and ENoLL Council member. Both entities as great example of innovative networks. Both Laurea University and ENoLL are strong innovation actors promoting citizen engagement in innovation. At Laurea for example, students learn through research, reflection and development activities carried out together with teachers, other students and workplace actors.
The innovation day focused on higher education and research institutes’ business and innovation collaboration and provided an overview of Finland`s innovation ecosystem. Ms Hirvikoski joined speakers from other Finnish Universities, namely Aalto University and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland as well as Global Operations manager for Slush – Europe’s leading start-up event alongise representtives from different ministries.
