As of August 30th, the 7th Wave of the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) brought to the consolidation of the network by means of twenty-five additional network members. Most of the new 7th wave ENoLL members come from European countries with representation from Cyprus, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Spain and Switzerland. Over a quarter of the new members are from non-European countries with a strong representation from Canadian Living Labs. Asia, Africa and the Caribbean countries are also represented.

The result shows a continuing reinforcement of ENoLL both in Europe and throughout the world, setting the stage for a strong role of the Living Lab movement in the context of EU 2020 Innovation Union and other relevant European Union policies. The increasing numbers of non-European members can be a reflection about how Living Labs are also being integrated in non-European Innovation policies. The Wave process, dating back to 2006, has up to today resulted in 345 accredited ENoLL Living Labs.

The 7th Wave of ENoLL Membership was announced in Manchester, UK in conjunction with the 4th ENoLL Summer School.
