On 21 March 2022, we will be present at the High-level Conference on Citizen Engagement in EU Missions which is organised by the French Presidency in Paris, France.
The event focused on the EU missions will bring together ministers, high-level experts and stakeholders in various fields, and will also be open to the public. We invite participants to stop by our booth to see how citizens are directly involved in the following missions:
Limerick Living Lab – Limerick’s Citizen Innovation Lab is a place for observation, co-creation and experimentation. It is a place where people can take part in activities to help shape a sustainable future for the city. A future where Limerick can become more beautiful, sustainable and inclusive.
Demetra – is working to provide innovative products and services, focusing on development and experimentation of technologies for therapy and diagnosis in crops protection.
Eindhoven Living Lab – is the ‘umbrella approach’ to incorporate different Living Labs operating in the city of Eindhoven into an integrated and integral approach. Eindhoven has a strong commitment towards its citizens to enhance the quality of life, by mobilising the creative power of triple helix parties and citizens/end users all together.
Krakow Living Lab – is one of the key actors in co-creating and implementing the Regional Innovation Strategy and promoting smart specialization and user-driven innovation approaches in the region
Forum Virium Helsinki – is the innovation company of the City of Helsinki. It aims to build Helsinki into the most functional smart city in the world in collaboration with companies, universities and residents.
ThessM@all – Thessaloniki Smart Mobility Living Lab fosters initiatives encouraging development in the transport sector and the sustainability of mobility schemes by the provision of novel technologies and innovation.
SofiaLab – is an Urban Living Lab – a Smart City community infrastructure and ecosystem, promoting urban innovations and local development by bringing together leading actors from public administration, academia, industry and social organisations.
Thess-AHALL – Thessaloniki Active and Healthy Ageing Living Lab hosted by the Artistotle University of Thessaloniki is actively engaged with the end-users and relevant community stakeholders, actively pursuing co-creation and co-design of technological solutions to improve health and social conditions and facilitate independent living.
Bird Living Lab – hosted by GAIA, an association of Applied Knowledge and Technology Industries in the Basque Country co-creates, tests and validates ICT products for environmental management. It develops services and scales them up to new markets, and create also a community of knowledge.
We will also showcase projects which have a direct citizen engagement component. These projects have or will include citizens through co-creation and co-design activities. We will present URBANOME, UNaLab, Rewaise, Score, oPEN Lab, All-ready and Watermining project.
