Co-mapping a strategy towards efficient Social Prescription for older adults in Europe

At the “Co-mapping a strategy towards efficient Social Prescription for older adults in Europe” workshop held on 1 October 2020, participants were engaged in an interactive activity: considering barriers and potential solutions for social prescriptions based on personas created by blueprint partners in EIP on AHA: https://ec.europa.eu/eip/ageing/blueprint_en

The discussions led to interesting ideas on how a social prescription might improve the lives of these personas, focusing on specific life situations such as carers of partners with alzheimers, living with chronic conditions, complex needs and retired persons with good general health.

Project Manager and Capacity Builder of ENoLL, Ines Vaittinen, presented  examples from the SISCODE project on co-creating policies, while ENoLL members Thess-AHALL (hosted by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and LiCaLab (hosted by Thomas More University of Applied Sciences in Belgium) presented their findings. Thess-AHALL representative held a presentation on “Citizens Science Initiatives towards healthcare digital transformation & social prescription policies” and LiCaLab on “Living lab cases as stepping stone to social inclusion”.
